Installation position of tensioning wheel
The installation position of the tensioning wheel is next to the chain, and the tensioning wheel is a belt tensioning device used for automotive transmission systems. The tensioning wheel is mainly composed of a fixed shell, tensioning arm, wheel body, torsion spring, rolling bearing, and spring sleeve, etc. It can automatically adjust the tensioning force according to the different tightness of the belt, making the transmission system stable, safe, and reliable. In order to maintain appropriate belt tightening force, avoid belt slipping, compensate for belt wear and elongation caused by aging during actual use, a certain amount of torque is required for the tensioning wheel. When the belt tensioner is running, the moving belt may cause vibration in the tensioner, which can lead to premature wear of the belt and tensioner.
The following is the working principle of the tensioning wheel:
1.The tensioning wheel is a tensioning device for belt transmission. When the center distance of the belt cannot be adjusted, a tensioning wheel can be used to tension the belt. The tensioning wheel is a driven wheel that compresses the belt by changing the wrap angle of the pulley or controlling the tension of the belt. It is a belt driven tensioning device.
2.The pulley is driven by friction. During installation, the pulley must be tensioned. But after working for a period of time, the stretching becomes loose and easy to slip, and it must be re stretched. If the center distance between two transmission wheels cannot be adjusted, a tensioning wheel must be used to ensure normal transmission without slipping. The tensioning wheel uses springs or oil pressure to generate tension on the belt, causing the belt to press onto the working pulley with appropriate pressure.
